25+ lbs of run of mine, hard rock gold ore mined from Jason's gold mine in Washington state. Mucked by hand, this hard rock gold ore is a complex composition of various minerals: quartz, pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite, and the ever-elusive gold. 

This ore is from the floor of the stope the old time miners left behind.  For the last two seasons you all have been asking me to muck the floor of the gold mine to recover the gold and ore left behind, well your wish has come true! This is that material!  There is a limited number of bags of this material and this material may contain more wall rock or waste material than that of freshly blasted ore.  The price of these bags reflects this and allows for the possibility of lower grade ore.  We have test panned this ore and some pans have come back with quite a bit of gold, and others with less.  This material should also be crushed to release the fine gold trapped in the quartz.  We have found quartz specimens with gold in them and they have gone into these bags as well so please wash each rock and look carefully for gold!  We are not sure what you are going to get with these bags, but I hope you enjoy them and find some of that shiny!  

Use this gold ore to practice crushing and panning, or hunt for gold specimens by washing and examining each piece. This ore serves as an ideal material for those eager to hone their smelting skills, or use them for cutting and polishing or jewelry! The possibilities are endless!
